Terms of Service

By creating a shop or placing an order on Tapshop ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Tapshop provides tools for small sellers in Cambodia to create online shops from their social media content. Tapshop is a technology platform — it is not a party to transactions between sellers and buyers. Each seller operates an independent shop; products and carts cannot be mixed across shops.

• You must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent to open a shop.
• You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your product listings, prices, stock levels, and descriptions.
• You must fulfill orders you receive. Repeated cancellations or non-fulfillment may result in account suspension.
• You may not sell counterfeit goods, prohibited substances, weapons, adult content, or any item illegal under Cambodian law.
• You are responsible for collecting and remitting any applicable taxes on your sales.
• You must keep your Bakong account ID accurate if you accept KHQR payments. Tapshop is not responsible for payments sent to an incorrect Bakong ID.
• By connecting Facebook or TikTok, you confirm you have the rights to the content you import and that it complies with Meta's and TikTok's own terms.

• You must provide accurate delivery information. Tapshop and the seller are not responsible for failed deliveries due to incorrect addresses.
• Payment is between you and the seller. Tapshop does not hold or process funds — KHQR payments go directly to the seller's Bakong account.
• Disputes about product quality or delivery must be resolved directly with the seller.

Product descriptions may be generated automatically using AI (Anthropic Claude) based on social media captions. AI-generated content may contain errors. Sellers are responsible for reviewing and correcting all AI-generated product information before publishing.

Tapshop currently charges no platform fees. This may change in the future with 30 days' notice to active sellers. KHQR payments are subject to the National Bank of Cambodia's Bakong network terms. Lalamove delivery fees are charged by Lalamove directly and are subject to their pricing.

You may not:

• Use the Service to spam, defraud, or impersonate others.
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to access data beyond your own account.
• Interfere with the Service's infrastructure or other users' accounts.
• Use automated means to create accounts or place orders without human intent.

You retain all rights to your content (photos, product descriptions, shop branding). By uploading content, you grant Tapshop a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and display it to operate the Service. We will not use your content for advertising without your consent.

The Tapshop name, logo, and platform code are owned by Tapshop and may not be copied or reused without written permission.

Tapshop provides the Service "as is". We do not guarantee uptime, accuracy of AI-generated content, or the conduct of any seller or buyer. To the fullest extent permitted by Cambodian law, Tapshop's liability is limited to the fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD 100, whichever is greater.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us — see Section 12.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Cambodia. Disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
